Integrity and Chokehold in Baltimore

September 23, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

On September 19th Chokehold took the stage for the last time in North America and quite possibly ever. After a summer of drama and bullshit it was awesome to see the band get a solid response from the crowd without any nonsense to mar the performance. I was lucky enough to be at the first "comeback" show in Toronto that ended up being at the center of a whirlwind of interweb bullshit and I was lucky to be at the last show. Chris Logan and the crew were nothing but awesome to me and I was able to set up a camera behind the drummer as well as shoot from both the stage and the crowd with another camera getting different angles. The crowd sang, dove, punched, and loved the band right till the end. The band was thicker, hairier, grayer but that did nothing to stop the passion that they always brought. A fitting end to the band.

Integrity took the stage after and was greeted enthusiastically. I won't lie - I'm not a giant fan but they put on a solid show with singer Dwid Hellion slightly thicker but just as engaged with the crowd as ever. From the opening chords until the last screams the crowd and Dwid shared 90 minutes of mayhem.

Thanks to A389 for putting on the show.
