National League Championship Series Mets V Dodgers Game 5: Mets Win!I shot the Mets three game homestand during the NLCS. I haven't posted many from the first two because... the mets lost. 98% of my photos were taken with the Sony A9III and 600 f/4. (Thank you David! SPS rocks). I've never shot baseball with a lens that long unless it was the World Series where i was in centerfield. It was a challenge. But a fun one. I shot from the 1st base well and had to move as far away as I could so that I could get (just barely) a head to toe shot of the batters at homeplate. The A9III autofocus was blazing fast. The camera is blazing fast. The majority of these images are at 4000 ISO but some from the 5pm to 6PM section of the game are at 3200 ISO. Lets Go Mets! Comments

Kidos to JC for capturing these awesome photos for the rest of us Mets fans! It’s fantastic to have a devoted fan on the field and not just a dispassionate photojournalist.
