Should I tell you that the first Burn 7" changed my idea of what hardcore was as much as anything else I heard at that time?
Should I tell you that it's been 20 years since I saw Burn?
Should I tell you that the show was amazing and that Philly is doing great things for hardcore these days?
Should I say that there were a bunch of guys in Burn and American Nightmare on stage on a Friday Night that are either over 40 or rapidly approaching it and yet still were capable of inciting a crowd to a frenzy by being frenzied?
Does it matter?
What matters is that Gavin, Chaka, Manny, and Durijah killed it. American Nightmare killed it (pics to follow) and I couldn't be happier to have been there to document it.
