Slipknot - Nikon At Jones Beach Theater

All shots taken with D750 and D810 with combination of 20 1.8, 16 2.8 and 50 1.4 - 

Slipknot puts on a tremendous show regardless of musical taste with theatrical masks, lights, and pyrotechnics. What makes them great to watch made them difficult to shoot due to rapidly changing lighting conditions (the norm for concert shooting) but also a change in white balance from deep reds to deep blues. The two Nikon bodies I had made it possible to capture the images due to their high level of dynamic range which allowed me to underexpose a bit to get more details in the otherwise blown out highlights.
