Crossfit JessaI'd shot with Jessa before and had a good time but I didn't think I'd captured how hard she was working on her crossfit regimen. My goal in this shoot was to highlight a bit of that while at the same time sticking to the theme of Juxtaposition that flows through my "fashion" work. We drove out to a space that should be familiar to you all by now if you are following me at all and we picked out a couple of outfits that were both interesting and did a great job showing off the fruits of her labor. The lighting was bare - Jessa has soft skin already so I didn't feel the need to add softening while I did think that the hard light created by the speedlights would accentuate the muscle tone of her body. All shots were created with a D810 controlling two SB-700 flashes via i-TTL. Auto FP mode was used in order to underexpose the backgrounds and give the hyper realistic colors in the color shots and to create dimensionality in the black and whites.
