Simple Two Speedlight Set Up
Most of my shooting is done with one speedlight. In this situation I felt compelled to break out a second to get some seperation between the latex dress, dark hair, and the mostly dark background. Following a simple 180 degree lighting set up where the two lights were faced directly at eachother with the subject in the middle I was able to light @Mal_Martine simply but also get detail throughout the shot. D800 in commander mode 58 1.4 Nikkor SB-900 to camera right SB-700 to camera left no modifiers.
