LAMENT this image was part of another post but it was buried with a few others and I really like it. i've long loved fisheyes and while they are certainly not for everyday use they are an amazing tool in your arsenal to give a perspective that is so outside of what our eyes see on a regular basis that they can really add a creative flair to a set of images. This image was taken with the D4s and the 16 2.8 nikon at Citifield in Flushing NY. Dodgers star outfielder Yasiel Puig has a big personality and presence in the game and i thought that capturing him in the magic time where the sky is going azure and almost matching the Dodgers colors would be a cool shot. The sun was going down fast so I knew that it was this at bat or else the shot wouldn't be what I saw in my mind...lucky for me it worked out.
