Killing Time destroyed Salty's. That could be the end of the post. It says it all but I have to let write more because I alway do. It was what was deserved. It was what was earned. It was RIGHT. Killing Time has been been one of the bands carrying the NYHC mantle for 36 years... and as is the norm sometimes tastes change and younger folks don't always listen to what their parents did. I think about that. I think about how in 1988 when the Raw Deal demo was the talk of the town 36 years before would be 1952 and I'd think I would probably not be going off for some pre-Elvis/Chuck Berry/Little Richard version of what would become Rock N Roll. But in so many bands today you can hear the direct DNA of the music that was written by Carl and Anthony and Anthony and Rich (miss you brother) so when a show doesn't absolutely go off I get frustrated in a way that isn't fair. Fast forward to this weekened...I wish i would have caught both shows but I'm HAPPY i caught New Jersey. Going back to seeing them at City Gardens Killing Time has always been loved here and it was amazing the way that both young and old went off - you can see it in the pictures... And I'd be lying if I didn't tell you that seeing the young women going off diving and singing wasn't pure heart warming magic... 

I love Killing Time. If you like hardcore you should too.
