I've tried to write this ten times. One time I forgot to hit save when I thought I had it right. I cried. 

I will miss the guys more than the band and I will miss the band more than just about any other band I've seen. I'm a 44 year old hardcore kid and I have no idea who takes their place. Probably no one. I'll wait for the bi-yearly GB show, the YOT tour, hope that Judge plays a show or two, get excited when Underdog or Killing Time shake off the dust and show the kids how it's done. I'll hope that some young band can match Sick Of It All's stamina on stage and off. I'll hope that Burn keeps playing and that American Nightmare writes a new record.  Does that sound like I'm comparing Bane to bands that are in my Hardcore Hall of Fame? Yea. It does and fuck you if you disagree. 

You can judge a band by who shows up to see them and who they call friends. I haven't met a dick in the bunch. Sing along, Stage Dive, Pile On. The best crowds I've been in. Everyone that I've met on this long crazy trip has been golden. 

Bedard, Aaron, Zach, Bobby, James, Stu, Pete, Chris, Nick, Ben - thanks for everything. I can't believe I won't be in the pit yelling and screaming along....
