New York Mets Opening Day 2016 Stills and TimeLapse

April 09, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

I grew up a Mets fan. I was lucky to have turned 14 in 1986 and to be fully aware of that season which would be the year that made me a Mets fan for life. I was lucky to end up with the opportunity to work for Nikon. I was lucky that the NY Mets team photographer Marc Levine shoots Nikon. I was lucky that the Mets are now sponsored by Nikon. I am lucky that I have a cool job that lets me play with the best gear and to use it to help support the best photographers in the world. I'm just pretty lucky.

Below are some images i captured during the Met's home opener on April 8 2016, a 7-2 defeat of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The timelapse was shot with a Nikon D810 and 16mm 2.8 fisheye.

The other images were captured with the Nikon D5 which has taken the mantle of "best camera I have ever shot" over.
