20 years is a long time to do anything. It's a really long time to do something that at the end of the day is mostly about the love. If you don't love it - it will show. Toby and the boys brought their H20Years Tour to St. Vitus for a week of shows. I was lucky to be invited by Russ from HUGE to capture the show. Don't Forget Your Roots!

On the photo side - my new favorite camera for concerts in the Nikon D750. Focuses without issue in really touch situations, is light enough to carry and shoot the way that I do which means mostly with one hand while using the other hand to hold my flash and fend off stage divers. the 6.5 frames per second and the ISO performance are more than equal to the task at hand when it comes to punk rock shows. Nikon CLS means that I can put the SB-910 in my left hand and get some light on the performers that isn't flat. The files are clean and big enough that i can crop in and maintain detail while the dynamic range allows me to underexpose a little and still get amazing detail.
