Going Shopping with VictoriaIt's been a while since I shot anything that wasn't work related. That's not a knock. The stuff I shoot while at work is almost always fun and forces me outside the walls that I normally inhabit in my shooting style. Work also puts me in contact with amazing photographers that challenge me and inspire me even while I help them with their own craft. This brings us to yesterday - managing to escape some physical ailments, some family emergencies, and the aforementioned work for a couple hours I was able to meet up with Victoria - I had shot her a long time ago when she was new to modeling. I did a little happy dance when she reached back out for a second shoot.... As often happens when shooting location not everything went to plan. High tides, new fences, weather changes, etc etc but in the end it's the journey right? well in this case the journey and the destination made me do a happy dance.
The sun was high behind Victoria - 1pm September light on a blue sky day. Two SB-910's to camera left zoomed to 50mm in ITTL D810 (I'm in love with a camera and her name is D810) Nikkor 35 1.4
