Four More With Mithras

shooting with _Mithras was a blast. Eager and fun to help produce strong images she wasn't scared by the scene or by being in front of the camera. 
 
All of these shots were taken with the D800 with a single SB-910 as the light source. Diffusion was with the lastolite trifold umbrella which is my shoot through of choice because it fits in my camera bag. It's not quite as big as I'd like for true glamour work but most of the location that I shoot in don't really work well with a big fat grenade of light spreading all over the place. (I also dig the 8 in 1 from Lastolite but it's pricey and I have a habit of losing parts....)
 
Triggering is done with the Nikon CLS system controlled through my D800 built in flash. Aside from the incredible files that the D800 produces, the pop up is one of the main reasons that i almost always find the D800 in my bag. The ability to shoot any aperture and shutter speed combination is a creative tool that is hard for me to go without. I could of course use a SU-800 or an SB-700 or SB-910 as a master on the hot shoe but i pack and travel light in order to try to get the best results in the places that I like to shoot...
