Packing Small And Shooting Big
Tomorrow I will be at the B&H Event Space for my presentation Off Camera Flash - Packing Small and Shooting Big which will present different concepts on how to get the most out of your speedliting set up. 99% of the images in the presentation were shot with one (you heard that right) one flash. I will be going over the basics of getting your flash off the hotshot, modifying the light for different effects, using the flash in combination with other light sources for different effects. If you are reading this you have seen some of my work and I invite you to come out and check out my techniques. This will be a really fun class and a great precursor to the model walk that I have scheduled for May 11th. More details to follow but the quick details are it will be from 10am to 1230pm on May 11th with a group limited to 10 photographers. I will provide a model as well as modifiers and stands for the shooting and we will be doing three locations with three different looks during the 2.5 hour shoot. If you are interested get in touch via email....
