Chelsea Dawn In Nevada

April 12, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

My vanilla job brings me to lots of places and into contact with some great people. This past week I was in Las Vegas for the NAB convention and my friend from Westcott Dave Piazza invited me to ElDorado to shoot with a great local Las Vegas model Chelsea Dawn. We had a great location to shoot and great light. The day started a little late and i had some major gear issues that led me to borrow Dave's camera (thanks again)

It gave me a chance to check out the new Westcott Rapid Box  in combination with the 600EX-RT and STE-3 from Canon. The STE-3 is a radio transmitter that works flawlessly with the newest Canon Speedlites. The radio abilities of the new lights really are worth the cost if you can get the system while it's on rebate. Great stuff that is simple to use and honestly has not given me a single issue as of yet.

I'm going to be posting images fromt his shoot over the next few days with the settings used.

Long story short - it's always great to shoot with friends. It's always great to shoot a model that makes it easy. It's always great to shoot with gear that works and gives great results. Great day....Chelsea Dawn in her own self created outfit
