Come say hi to me in person and pick my brain over some of the techniques I use to get (hopefully) great results from small lights. 95% of my shooting is done with one (you read that right 1!) speedlite and a variety of modifiers. The B&H Event Space is a great venue for learning so you should check it out regardless if you can come to my event or not.

On Saturday the 4th of May I will be leading a location shoot featuring some of the methods that I explain during this class. The "Model Walk" will feature a professional model, two hours of shooting and instruction, as well as a 1/2 hour to go over some of the finer points of my methods. The cost for this class will be 130 which will include the cost of the model and a critique of your 3 favorite (of least favorite) images. The best work will be featured in a blog post on my site. This class is limited to 10 students and an SLR, flash, and a way to get the flash off your camera will be needed. i will have extra modifiers (softboxes, umbrellas, snoots, etc) for the class to use but I do recommend bringing your own.
