April 23 @ The B&H Event Space - Packing Small And Shooting Big

March 26, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

Come say hi to me in person and pick my brain over some of the techniques I use to get (hopefully) great results from small lights. 95% of my shooting is done with one (you read that right 1!) speedlite and a variety of modifiers. The B&H Event Space is a great venue for learning so you should check it out regardless if you can come to my event or not.

Space is limited for this class so sign up as soon as you can if you want to get in. Admission to this class is....drum roll....drum roll....FREE.

On Saturday the 4th of May I will be leading a location shoot featuring some of the methods that I explain during this class. The "Model Walk" will feature a professional model, two hours of shooting and instruction, as well as a 1/2 hour to go over some of the finer points of my methods. The cost for this class will be 130 which will include the cost of the model and a critique of your 3 favorite (of least favorite) images. The best work will be featured in a blog post on my site. This class is limited to 10 students and an SLR, flash, and a way to get the flash off your camera will be needed. i will have extra modifiers (softboxes, umbrellas, snoots, etc) for the class to use but I do recommend bringing your own. You can contact me through the site with questions and for further details.

See you soon.
