Football In The Fall

This post is another of those I love my job posts. As many of you know about 3 months ago I took a job with Nikon Professional Services USA. At the time, for a brief moment it was a bit scary like most new things. I quickly realized that professionally it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I meet great photographers, learn from them, teach them, shoot with them. I work with the best crew you could ask for. I travel with them, shoot with them, learn from them and teach them. I go to cool places I would never have gone without this job. if you could fall in love with a job. I have.

Now that i have that out of the way here is part two of my sappiness. I'm a lifelong Giants fan. I'm a Giants fan because my dad was a Giants fan. I've been lucky with them as compared to my other teams they have been incredible. 4 Superbowl wins in my lifetime. 1 other appearance. Nothing to complain about. But in 41 years I had never been to a Giant's game. I really wish my dad would have been alive to see this. So this past week I was invited over to Metlife Stadium to meet and greet with the Nikon shooters that cover the Giants and it was awesome to meet so many new people that were happy to see me. I was also allowed on the field to shoot some and seeing your first game for a team you've loved for years and years from the sidelines, being feet away from guys you've only ever seen on TV is highly reccomended if you can get lucky and get a job like mine.

All Photography is this post was taken with the Nikon D4 and the 200-400 f4
